BIOGRAPHY
A graduate of the University of Nairobi Law School, Mbugua started his legal career as a legal researcher, and then rose to the position of Head of Programmes at Innovative Lawyering & Sihanya Mentoring where he gain unparalleled experience and expertise in Legal Research, Legislative Drafting and Intellectual Property Law.
From Innovative Lawyering & Sihanya Mentoring, Mbugua then joined the reknown firm of Njoroge Regeru & Company wherein he honed his skills in Dispute Resolution [including Court Litigation, and Arbitration] and Corporate Commercial & Conveyancing practice. The experience from Njoroge Regeru & Company has now propagated him to new heights in legal advocacy.
After his stint at Njoroge Regeru & Company, Mr Mbugua ventured into practice by starting his own firm, MJM Law LLP where he has practiced since 2017. In the intervening period he has served as the Head of Legal & Compliance for several and international entities operating both in Kenya and in multiple other jurisdictions.
Mr Mbugua works closely with the firm of MMD Advocates where he renders his experience in Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, Information & Technology Law, and Property Law.
