The corporate & Commercial Practice Department
Our commercial practice handles a range of county governments, corporate, banking and financial transactions. Through it, the firm provides a wide range of commercial advisory services to clients including undertaking due diligence, negotiating restructurings, advising on public listing, rights issues, asset sales and financing through single lender or syndicate loans. We work mainly in Kenya but regional and overseas work may also be undertaken. Recent notable matters covered by this department include, among others:
- Registration of a Representative Office for a leading regional Bank.
- Oversight, advisory on mergers and acquisition of a large engineering company
- Preparation of a varied range of commercial contracts, factors and advisory on the same
- Advising on the registration of a local credit facilities provider. We recently obtained the preliminary banking license.
- Facilitating & handling the registration and set-up of several ICT Companies.
- Facilitating and handling the incorporation and set-up of a mobile money payment company in Kenya.

Commercial Property & Real Estate Advisory Department
The Real Estate and Construction Sector continues to grow exponentially in Africa, and Kenya has particularly presented a melting pot of opportunities for this sector. The Litigation & Arbitration Department
